Unique Fitness Amenity at Arthur On Aberdeen Apartments

Arthur on Aberdeen is a luxury rental residence located in the hear of Chicago’s Fulton Market. They pride themselves on state-of-the-art amenities, and the fitness center is no exception.

At the start of this project, LG Group selected The Fitness Connection (TFC) as their trusted fitness amenity designer and equipment provider. The TFC team was excited by the opportunity to think outside the box with a creative layout design to make this fitness amenity stand out.

LG Group knew that a luxury apartment building requires luxury at every touch point, including the fitness center. The project required more than just a room full of exercise equipment, but a space where tenants could envision themselves participating, and a variety of creative workout opportunities.

The finished product is just that. It features a mix of cardio, strength training, a group training room, and a variety of functional training options including an outdoor workout space.

The Equipment Line-Up

Offering a show-stopping amenity requires a unique equipment selection.

Cardio at Arthur on Aberdeen includes everything from treadmills, ellipticals, climb mills, and bikes from Matrix Fitness, along with connected spin bikes from Soul Cycle.

The strength area makes great use of the center of the room with a floating mirror to break up the space. It provides all of the essentials and then some, including free weights, a smith machine, cable cross over, and selectorized machines.

The functional studio room is the show stopper of the space with a bright pop of color and unique lighting. This space offers unlimited exercise possibilities with a variety of accessories and HIIT cardio options. Given the growing enthusiasm for functional training, this is poised to remain a focal point for years to come.

And we can’t forget about the outdoor workout space. An Escape Fitness HIIT Hub leads you out to a turf covered terrace that can really cater to the functional training environment. It also features an Escape Barrow for sled pushes/pulls - something you don’t always get in an apartment gym!

The unique and diverse equipment offering at Arthur on Aberdeen exceeds the standards of prospective tenants no matter what their exercise routine may look like.

The Final Product

Since the opening of the building, tenants are excited by this fitness amenity and variety that it offers. The space provides them with enough variety that they do not feel the need for an additional membership elsewhere - talk about a value add! The “wow” factor has been rewarding and powerful for Arthur on Aberdeen.
