Preventative Maintenance is vital to ensuring the life and quality of your fitness equipment. By routinely checking and cleaning your equipment, you can help prevent major machine failures that can potentially lead to injury. This greatly reduces liability, and builds confidence in your product among current and future members.
Our Preventative Maintenance program consists of a complete check-up on all your fitness equipment. Each machine is run through a series of electronic, motor, and wear item diagnostic checks by one of our factory trained technicians. All serial numbers, mileage, hours, and other machine statistics are recorded. Any items or parts showing signs of failure or wear, are also recorded. This information is kept on file by The Fitness Connection, and is an important role in properly maintaining your equipment.
In addition to these diagnostic checks, each machine is completely cleaned during our maintenance visits. This is extremely important, as the build up of dirt or dust near the electronic and motor components can lead to part failures, or ultimately be a hazard to the user, or their environment.
Manufacturer's recommend that preventative maintenance is performed on a quarterly basis. However, because this is largely dependant on the amount of usage your facility receives, our maintenance agreements allow the customer to customize the length and terms of each contract.
